Consistency is the biggest factor in achieving ANY fitness objective and the lack of it is the biggest inhibitor.
Most people want "results" and try to do too much, too soon. No Pain, No Gain, right? Wrong!
Basic psychology says if we enjoy something, we do it more. We show people HOW to exercise without pain or discomfort. And, our low-impact equipment has a force multiplier effect on their efforts so they can burn more calories with less effort. It's why our members get in better shape, faster.
Everyone knows exercise is the best way to keep our health from deteriorating. Too many people think their age, pain, health issue, or previous injury prevents them from being in better shape. That's simply NOT the case.
Our body has a remarkable way of healing itself. Our proprietary Do What Fits System was developed by a multi-trauma accident survivor who used it to recapture his health and vitality after eleven (11) corrective surgeries all over the body. Do What Fits uses specialized movement in common exercises to develop mindful fitness activities.
After just a few sessions, the body's natural healing process begins to kick in. By combining science with our human nature, we teach people how to enhance the mind-body-spirit connection in exercise activities so you can exercise in a pain-free way and see results.
Over time, successively "listening to the body", has enabled some of our clients to open up pathways to wellness their doctors didn't think possible.
At MLTF we help people realize a different reality for themselves and their family. We don't claim to be "cheap" but you DO get what you pay for...We GUARANTEE it. That starts with Day 1 and EVERY Day thereafter. After a session with us, EVERY Client leaves here:
Feeling Good; They are NOT in pain
Feeling Like they could DO more
It's WHY our Members stay here and why MLTF has one of the highest member retention rates in the industry.
The Initial Fitness Assessment (IFA) is a test or measurement we complete
together after the interview. It is used to gain mutual insight and information
relative to your overall fitness. During the IFA, all factors for success are assessed
relative to a potential client’s success here.
The IFA itself is the second step taken before engagement to determine what, if
any, future course of action should be taken together.
It involves discussion about current activities, past efforts and previous injuries.
The emphasis of the assessment is on determining what Participation Level of Program makes the most sense for you.
Key components of the IFA include:
-INTERVIEW/OBJECTIVES REVIEW
-BIOELECTRIC IMPEDANCE/BASELINE MEASUREMENT
-MINI-SESSION
-OPTIONS REVIEW & RECOMMENDATION
